Extent of Guarantee:-

• Each dentist carries liability insurance that is compulsory for joining the Hungarian Dental Association.
• In case of a failure of the laboratory work, your guarantee covers all necessary dental and laboratory costs to rectify the problem.
• An annual check-up at your clinic in Budapest is mandatory to validate your guarantee.
• Temporary crowns, bridges or dentures are not covered by this guarantee.
• Our partner clinics are not liable for any unforeseen root canal treatment after tooth preparation for crown- or bridgework.
• Scheduled root canal treatment cannot be guaranteed due to a general, reasonably high failure rate caused by anatomic differences and variations for each individual case.
• Tooth whitening procedures need repeating every few years to maintain the desired shade, due to natural discolouration of teeth caused by substances contained in beverages or smoking etc.
• Inappropriate selection of colour and shape of crowns/bridges/veneers/in- and onlays by the patient are not subject to this guarantee, as our partner clinics cannot be held responsible if the patient later changes his/her mind about the appearance of these types of prostheses.

The Guarantee will be invalidated or reduced:-

• If patients neglect oral hygiene or are non-compliant with care instructions given to them by the clinic staff.
• If dental or remedial work is continued or carried out by a practitioner not employed by our partner clinics.
• In case of accidental or sport damage, or damage caused by any third party.
• If gingiva or bone is naturally reducing, or if the patient experiences a substantial amount of weight loss or gain during a short timeframe.
• If the patient develops or suffers from a general illness that has a detrimental effect on his/her dental condition.
• Damage caused by extreme stress such as nightly teeth grinding or gnashing, or caused by smoking or drug abuse.
• If payment obligations are not fulfilled.
