"Having originally trained to be a dental technician, I then studied dentistry in Münster, Germany, and subsequently obtained my doctorate in dentistry. I was offered the position of assistant to the director of the University Hospital Münster (Prof. Dr. Haunfelder) and had the privilege to work with him for two years. This was followed by five years in my own practice when I was given the opportunity to become a college lecturer in Tübingen and Saarbrücken where I remained for eight years. Thereafter I re-opened my previous practice which I ran for twenty years before relocating to Italy where I set up and ran a dental surgery for three years. This was followed by a commission on behalf of two investors, to establish and manage a large, ultra-modern dental clinic in Budapest. This private clinic mainly dealt with Swiss and Irish patients."
